The cashier took forever to finish her personal conversation with the customer/friend infront of me and then didn't even say hello when I approached the counter. Handed me my receipt, change and coins in a pile and said have a good day then waved the lady behind me forward. It was so rude and very rushed. Couldn't even put my wallet back into my purse before she was helping someone else. Rude
The BEST experience ever! Maria, a manager at this store went above and beyond to ensure both my kitty and I were very happy! She is a perfect example of what great customer service should be...I hope she is valued by her employer as she is a rare asset!
High prices. Not much help. Groomers are pretty good. Shop there when I have to.
Never seen so many dead fish in a tank and workers not caring. I saw betta fish dying, so many dead goldfish being fed on by other goldfish. None of their mealworms were decent, they all were black and dead and you could smell it. Workers were rude. Ill stick to ordering my mealworms from private people. Not going back to any of their locations. Also manager was rude when i brought up the fish and a coworker told me she keeps them on her desk until their dead and tosses them. They don't actually attempt to treat them.
I rarely shop here because everything is a third more expensive than any other place. I wanted a tall gate immediately so I went to buy it there. When I got it home, it was missing a piece. I returned it, hoping to get the missing piece from another box. The piece wasn't there. So the gate didn't fit. Okay, not a good design but not their fault. They found my transaction through my Petco card. Instead of giving me a refund, they gave me a Petco card. I said everything you have is a third more expensive than any other place, they said I could find the price and bring in proof and get the same price there. Except that Petco is making me shop at their store by not giving me a return on my purchase, why would I go to the trouble to find it at a cheaper price and have it matched by them? I get it cheaper elsewhere. After I spend this gift card, I will endeavor NEVER to EVER shop at another Petco. Forcing me to spend the money in their store, rather than competing fairly is a crappy way to do business, in my opinion.
