I've been going to this clinic for more than 7 years. No complaints about the staff. My only complaint is that they to update their magazines in the waiting areas
Their doctors and staff are clearly unhealthy and their practice is outdated. They do not treat patients with quality care.
I just talked to the receptionist for the Sports Medicine/Physical Therapy Center and she was very short with me. I was trying to make an appointment to pick up my custom orthopedic insoles that have been ready for weeks now. She quickly said that she would leave a message for my therapist and said shortly "Thank you, B-bye" and hung up on me. Maybe she's having a bad day but that was a rude way to end our phone call. I am surprised by this.
Avoid Dr Demi at all cost. He hit me in my ribs while on the exam table and asked me if it hurt? Non-sense. I have filed a complaint with the State of WI. I have asked multiple times for a refund for this appointment and have received NO answer. I am a cash pay patient who desires excellent care for MY money. I have no health insurance and pay in full for quality care.
The Pharmacist at this location is rude, and very condescending. I spoke with her earlier in the day regarding a prescription transfer; I was told that I would be able to pick it up at a specific time. I arrived at the time we agreed upon, but no prescription. This pharmacist canceled my prescription, so in order to fill it she needed my doctor to write another script; which shouldn't have been difficult considering he is across the waiting area, and down the hall. I was told very rudely that she just hasn't had time to call my doctor, really? Now there was absolutely no one in there when I walked in. This women was so nasty in her tone, and facial expressions. It just amazes me, if you don't like dealing with people; then get a job that does not require you to deal with people! I just couldn't believe how incompetent this staff is, call the doctor, get the script, or call the customer that you told it would be ready; that you messed up and deleted my script. Needless to say I did their jobs for them. Walked right across the hall, and had someone call my doctor. Wow that was hard. Ever since Aurora took over this facility in has gone down hill. Co-pays don't get collected, instead they send you to collections, doctors that have been with Lake Shore for a long time are leaving, patient care has gone done the drain. The pharmacist prior to this one was amazing, friendly, helpful, and caring. Shame on you Aurora!
You will have no idea you owe them money until you get a letter and calls from a collection agency. Apparently, they have no billing department or they lack people with the skills to mail a letter or dial a phone call. They do know how to mail letters though. I cancelled an appointment a month beforehand, yet I got a letter telling me how it hurts the doctor when you don't show. I CANCELLED. How do you think I feel that you hurt my credit rating putting a collection on me for $50?!? Try some communication with your people. STAY AWAY!!
Next day appointment, no wonder, he must not have any repeat patients. Bottom of the barrel doctors should be fired.
